THROUGH TOWN AND RIGHT

Acrylic, metal leaf on canvas.

48” x 24”. 2020.

This is an original acrylic and metal leaf painting on canvas from Teale’s Community Sourced Street Light Series. This colorful cityscape painting is inspired by the unique street lights on Wilshire Boulevard, heading west out of Downtown Los Angeles. Teale has often referred to this unusual street light in her paintings, but here it is seen without its metallic glow, cloaked in the uncertain veil of Covid-19.

The work is 48”x24” on canvas over 1.5″ deep stretcher bars. Signed front. Signed and dated on back.
